Happy 70th Anniversary, Mother and Dad!

The family gathered to celebrate Mother and Dad's 70th anniversary on Easter Weekend. They were married on Easter Sunday....right between the Sunrise Service and Sunday School. Just like young couples do today :) It was so neat to hear Dad's reply to Carly's asking him what was the secret to their long marriage. Dad said, "We spoil each other." Mother and Dad, we love you, we respect you, and we're proud you are our parents.

and the Great-Grandchildren .....now this was getting a little tricky!

Mother thoroughly enjoyed holding 11 days old Tyler. It was really precious.

More Anniversary Weekend Pictures

Here's our family....minus Bryan N, Stephen, Freya and boys. This weekend fell too close to April 15 (tax day).

Lots of good food! Chicken, ham, lots of salads and desserts!

Lynae and Claudia

Christi and Alyssa immediately became friends of Kayla and Joshua playing games with them.

Fun, Fun Week!

The week before Tyler was born, Freya and the boys came for a visit. The last weeks before April 15 are very busy for Stephen at the office, so this was a perfect time for a visit. Max and Henry spent a little time playing Mario Kart.

There's a story behind this picture.....all the kids love for Aunt Rebecca to come and the favorite game is to play "Chase Me" around the circle. Everyone got hot and began "stripping" down! Here's Max and Kayla!

The best toys are always on the next shelf higher! Even Henry scampered up the stepladder to check out the next shelf!!

It's always good to wear safety goggles with these "dangerous" toys

Our New Baby is Here

Tyler Sean Nelson was born March 31 at 11:16 AM weighing...are you ready....10 lbs, 11oz. He is a beautiful baby boy. So far, he sleeps a lot and likes to be swaddled in his blanket. These are significant characteristics when comparing them to his little sister, Kayla!

Lisa and baby are doing great!

Kayla is such a "little mommy" and is concerned that his pacifier is near by. Joshua is posing in this picture, but he was much more fascinated with the mechanics of his mother's bed :)
