Happy 18th Birthday, Brian.....1 month late

I'm really not a procrastinator. This is why we were so late celebrating Ryan's birthday. The week of his birthday, I caught the nasty, nasty flu. It was so bad the boys humored me by eating out three days, so I couldn't smell any food. Then, Ryan left for Florida on the band trip. Brian and Lisa had company Easter weekend, then Rebecca and Stephen went to Colorado. There you have it. So, "Happy Birthday, Ryan!" We even had balloons for the occasion, and I grilled outside with 41 degree weather. Spring, where are you??

I'm thinking we need a bigger dining room.

One final birthday shot!

More Pictures from Indiana

Henry was dressed for the big game day. He had his KU hoodie on.

Max is a good big brother and likes to entertain Henry.

How long can you lay on your tummy with your head up and your arms out at your sides??

A Quickie Visit to Indiana

I delivered a car to Indiana last week and got to spend Monday with Stephen, Freya and the boys. It was a short, sweet visit. The weather on Monday was warm, the boys were so cute, we had a great Mexican lunch with Stephen, and to top it off, KU won that night! We went to the zoo in the morning and Max was thoroughly enjoying trotting from one cage to the next.

As we approached the lion cage, the lion decided to let out ferocious roars. Max took a step back, closer to his mommy. I'll admit it was pretty intimidating.

And here he is, "King of the Jungle!"

Max and Grandma took a ride on the choo choo train.

Henry was just glad to be along and share his smiles.

An Evening at Grandma's

Even though her knees drag on the bottom, Kayla likes to get back into the Exersaucer and play!

The evening isn't complete without playing with playdough. Kayla, those are serious antennae you have!

Joshua thinks it's always more fun to climb on the ladder and get one of the toys higher up.

Happy Easter!

We had a nice Easter Sunday. Richard and I went Saturday evening and were there for the Sunrise Service, bright and early ! The kids came together and got there in time for church.

It was really chilly, and Mother thought it was time to end this picture taking session and go back into the house.

Nothin' like eating a BIG Sunday dinner, then taking a nap on the couch!
