An Evening at Grandma's

Even though her knees drag on the bottom, Kayla likes to get back into the Exersaucer and play!

The evening isn't complete without playing with playdough. Kayla, those are serious antennae you have!

Joshua thinks it's always more fun to climb on the ladder and get one of the toys higher up.

Happy Easter!

We had a nice Easter Sunday. Richard and I went Saturday evening and were there for the Sunrise Service, bright and early ! The kids came together and got there in time for church.

It was really chilly, and Mother thought it was time to end this picture taking session and go back into the house.

Nothin' like eating a BIG Sunday dinner, then taking a nap on the couch!

Gotta Luv Drumline

Each year Washburn University hosts "Battle of the Drumlines." All the area high schools participate, and even though there are no ratings, you can bet that the kids "rate" the drumlines. This is, of course, Topeka High Drumline.

Ryan is center snare (standing right behind the guy cymbal player).

Yeah.....I Know....It's Been Awhile

Richard and I made a trip to Indiana to see Stephen, Freya, and the boys the first weekend in March. Max still enjoys his trucks.

Henry is growing up, too!

We were able to be there for the boys' dedication service Sunday morning.

After eating lunch we headed back to Bremen and Max rode in the truck with Stephen and Grandpa. I think Grandpa was more excited than Max!

Before leaving IN we made a quickie visit to Jim and Susanne's. Here's Claudia and Max posing for a picture.

This and That Pictures

Grandma with Henry & Max (Stephen and Freya's boys)

Henry just finished with his bath and lovin' every minute of it!

This Christmas gift was a "personalized" paper towel dispenser. My son-in-law, Bryan, was "amazed" with my wall dispenser that had a sereated edge, which in his opinion, was terribly dangerous. He likened it to a roll a paper towels attached to a hand saw! Funny.....I don't think anyone else has ever had a problem getting a paper towel before :)

Joshua, Henry, Kayla, and Max!

Enjoying the last few moments together!

Christmas at Home 2007

We had our family Christmas the Saturday following Christmas Day. What fun it was with us all together and all four grandchildren! Joshua, with such a serious tone, asked if there would be one present with his name on it!
Max was very focused and concentrated as he opened gifts. He wouldn't look up or replay to any questions!

Yes, Joshua, there was even more than one present with your name on it. Kayla delighted on sitting on gifts as she opened others.

Grandma wanted to give Kayla a baby doll with a pacifier. Then we noticed that she was trying to use the doll's pacifier as her own. The string attached just wasn't quite long enough!

Ryan and Brian gave Max and Joshua these motorized ATV's that would putt-putt around the circle in the house. They were sooooo cute. I think Ryan and Brian were as excited as the little boys!
